The Committee continue to seek the assistance of the local TD Minister Jack Chambers to have our slots at the Sports Ireland Campus restored.
Currently we do not have any of the Sunday morning slots for the Juniors, we are also ousted on Saturdays from early November and the mid-week slots are only available from 9 o'clock.
We are asking that you and anyone you know email Jack Chambers to continue to apply pressure on Sports Ireland to get us back in.

Re: Dublin North Hockey Club.
Dear Minister,
We are Members and Parents of Dublin North Hockey Club and are asking your assistance with preserving the slots for our children at the Sports Ireland Campus (SIC) Abbottstown.
We have now been informed by the Club, that the slots that are no longer available to our members having been taken over by Hockey Ireland, who have been given priority.
The Club has over 250 Juniors, ranging in age from 7 to 18 and represent over thirty schools in your constituency.
The Club provides excellent coaching, playing hockey in a safe and friendly environment. The health and welfare of our children is at risk if they cannot play for the Club. Getting girls to participate and stay in sport is the mission of the Club.
The Club has been in situ at the SIC Abbottstown since 2014 long before Hockey Ireland and want to have restored the slots for training and playing to preserve the Club. It is our understanding that there are no other public hockey facilities in the region.
