Covid19 Protocols Updated Jan 2022
Hockey Ireland in conjunction with Sports Ireland and the HSE have updated the protocols on 24th January.
It is essential for the health and well-being of our Members, Coaches, Coaching Assistants, Volunteers and the personnel we come in contact that we observe the basic requirements of good hygiene.
Primary
If you have Confirmed Covid19 infection (PCR or Antigen)
Must isolate and not attend any hockey session) for 7 days regardless of age.
Limit close contact for 10 days (including 7 isolation)
If you are a Close Contact and Aged
13 & older and Boosted restrict movement 0 (zero) days
13 & older NOT Boosted restrict movement 7 days
0 – 12 years Household contact restrict movement 7 days
0 – 12 years non Household contact restrict movement 0 days
If you feel unwell during a session you must inform Coach and if confirmed positive must inform the Covid-19 Compliance officer.
The following protocols must be observed by ALL participants at any Hockey activity.
1: Only Club Registered members may attend.
2: All players, Coaches and Assistants must complete either the current or Clubzap Health Declaration prior to attending every training session.
3: Non-declaration WILL result in refusal of entry without exception.
7: All must observe and follow any instruction or as directed by the appointed Covid-19 Compliance Officer.
The HSE will be consulted for advice should any participant confirm a positive test.
Attendance records will be retained for the duration as required.
