Dublin North Hockey Club Committee are inviting you attend a Zoom Meeting on

      Tuesday  15/4/2025  at 19:30.  see link below

This meeting is a follow-up to the Members meeting where the future requirement of the Club were discussed.

The expansion of the Junior Section over the past number of years has been a great success and it is our wish to provide for player and club development. We want to ensure that all are welcome providing a safe and enjoyable environment.

Volunteers and assistants are required for:

                                    General Committee

                                    Youth Committees.

                                    Fundraising

                                    Club Development, including Community, Diversity and Inclusion, Vets  

                                    Player Development, catering for all levels.

                                    Social and Presentation Events              

                                    Social media.

 

Training and support will be provided. It is not necessary to have played hockey previously.

 

Youth Committees with a structure of Youth Coordinator assisted by 

                                     Primary Development Committee 

                                     Secondary Development Committee 

Each Committee functions to include:

i)                   Leinster Youths Registration and Liaison: This role would involve being the contact with Leinster Youths Committee and registering the various squads in their competition.

ii)                 Facilities and equipment: Liaison for training and fixtures slots

                                                                         Goalkeeper gear

                                                                         Training equipment balls, cones, throwdowns, and bibs.

                                                                          First aid equipment

iii)               Volunteer Rota: ensure assistants are present to set-up pitch and goals, first aid assistance and supervise toilet runs.

iv)               Coaching and Umpire Training Programmes

v)                Squad Parent contact details   This is necessary if a training slot is abandoned due to weather or other events.

vi)               Home and away fixtures confirmation and liaison with opposition clubs.

vii)              Liaise with ALSAA and ensure these children are included in DNHC squads for fixtures and blitzes etc.
